Soccer jersey know how- How to beat the fakes?

A soccer jersey is identified with the team it represents by the distinctive color it is made of and the occasional stripes used for variety. The jerseys are very beautiful and artistically created with many colors and designs. Some teams choose single color shades, like Manchester United jerseys are red. Sometimes more than one team have the same color, for example Liverpool jerseys are also red, but in this case the shades used are different. A jersey may have four different colors on it to be distinctive. Sometimes stripes are used on the jerseys, to give them a unique look. Inter Milan jerseys have stripes on them. So do the Celtic jerseys. The jersey will have the name of the soccer club printed on its front. Usually also printed alongside with the club logo will be the name of the sponsor. On the back of the jersey the name of the player and his number is printed.

Soccer jerseys have been worn by players from the very beginning of the game, but only recently have they become so popular amongst the fans. One of the reasons why this is so is probably the fact that the jersey itself has undergone a complete makeover in terms of the material used to manufacture it and also it’s stylish look. In the earlier times, the soccer shirts consisted of only basic colors, usually a dark shade or just plain white. Stripes were used in some cases to add variety. They were made of cotton, which made the jerseys thick and thus resulted in the extra perspiration of the players. This further resulted in the shirts becoming heavier as the cotton soaked up the sweat. The jerseys clinged to the players bodies making it hard for them to run etc.

Today soccer shirts look more bright and lively because of the nylon and polyester vibre being used to manufacture the jerseys. The use of these materials also results in the jerseys being lighter, allowing the players to move with much more ease than before with the previous heavier jerseys. These vibres also do not absorb any sweat. Long sleeved versions are also available for the winter season. They come in V necks and collars. Some teams have retained the old style of buttoned up shirts.

One can make out fake jerseys by noticing that the colors are usually off and also the information of player/team details are wrong.
